From zero milestone, since founding our company we are dedicated to create a positive impact to our planet, humans and animals, Flora and Fauna. Our endeavours aim to create special, unique, beautiful and fashion forward products with the possible least impact on our environment. We have never used real fur, exotic leathers or any materials from uncontrolled origin, we are focusing on sustainable fabrics and solutions. ABODI’s prints, embroideries and applications are all custom developments which embodies the complex inhouse creative & design processes of our brand.
As the only Transylvania heritage contemporary high fashion brand we are committed to include fabrics with natural composition, as cotton, wool, silk, rayon, linen and other natural fabrics into our collections referring to historical roots and traditional Transylvanian textiles. We are constantly working with local artisans to create and explore opportunities.
We are conscious in dedicating time and investment to create opportunities for local artisans around the world. We work with Transylvanian, Italian, Hungarian and Indian embroidery, crochet and ceramic artisans to create one-of-a-kind magic, couture pieces and art pieces. These collaborations are inspiring, meaningful and rich with amazing experiences and love and mutual learning.
Our knitwear is made of Italian and German OEKOTEX certified yarns. For the AW collection we chose cashmere-merino mix, warm, fluffy, cosy yarns for a luxurious winter experience. Explore our collection!
For the AW collection we choose Italian vegan leather for the coats and jackets to avoid using real leather. These fabrics do not contain toxic ingredients and arrive from controlled origin. We are constantly exploring new opportunities and fabrics to find the possible best solutions for the customers. Reading real leather we use dead stock and upcycled leather from time to time, exclusively for our accessories.
